like the clean look-very linear and easy to navigate, feels organized and logical color scheme is more lively, less bookish than the browns/dark red like the tabs wording more than other sites (visit, borrow, get involved) teen page has cool graphics that define it as its own place
From a reference staff member: I dislike all the white space on the home page. It looks kind of dull. On the otherhand, the Kid’s and Teen pages are outstanding—lively, colorful, and engaging. I like the What’s your Opinion survey on the teen page. Seems like something a teen would like to do.
From a reference staff member: Good contrast of large colored photographs with a white background. Liked request form for displays, read-alikes for popular fiction, and senior services.
From a reference staff member: Excellent Category Tab Labels: (Visit, Borrow, Get Involved)/ Would like to combine Darien’s General Organization w/ User Friendly Language of Arlington Heights
logo and tagline appear in browser tab, very nice

Very streamlined look. Search bar doesn't indicate whether it is a catalog search or site search.

The colors on the ahml.info site look really clean and streamlined but I'm not a big fan of their font or layout.
